STACK-A-POTS “PATIO FARM”
The
Patio Farm- a substantial planter for the serious space
deprived gardener.
With
the Patio Farm you can grow herbs in abundance, boutique
vegetables, strawberries, bulbs, annuals, perennials- the
list goes on.
With every growing area spanning 25cm, every
plant has room to reach its maximum potential. Every layer
holds 20 litres of soil.
With
the patented internal irrigation system you can be certain
every plant will evenly receive their life sustaining
nutrients and moisture, with each water well storing a litre
of liquid.
Simply water your Patio Farm directly into the
top layer and continue to fill until the water well
reservoir is full and overflowing through the side drainage
holes.
The side drainage holes will direct the overflow into
and around the perimeter of the growing area via a
discreetly positioned irrigation gutter and starts the whole
process again within the second layer, and while watering
continues until all layers and all growing areas are
completely and evenly watered.

OF PLENTY”
The Bowls of Plenty are based on traditional designs
coupled with state of the art technology. Perfect for
indoors, balconies, apartment living or retirement
lifestyle.
With the Bowls of Plenty you can grow herbs in
abundance, boutique vegetables, strawberries, bulbs,
annuals, perennials, ferns, bromeliads and more.
With
every growing area spanning 23 cm across, with three
growing areas per layer, every plant has room to reach
its maximum potential. Every layer holds 10 litres of
soil.
The internal irrigation system ensures that every plant
will evenly receive their life sustaining nutrients and
moisture by one single application to the uppermost
layer per watering session.
In addition the Bowls of
Plenty is an efficient self-watering planter with each
layer housing its own life support system in the form of
exclusive moisture retaining gelmats that are engineered
to store up to 600 mls of water and soluble nutrients.
This water storing feature allows for an extended period
of time between watering sessions and will vary
depending on location, temperature, wind and plant type,
but may extend as long as two weeks.

STACK-A-POTS “WALL OF
PRODUCE”
This attractive new planter is designed to be mounted on
any vertical or near vertical surface.
All pots are attached and supported securely by a strong
supporting multi-channeled stem.
The Wall Planter comes packaged in an attractive retail
box and contains six self-watering planters, six
drainage grids and two supporting stems with connector
and fastening equipment.
Each tier has individual self-watering pots with their
own water reservoirs and soil separating grids. Each
growing area holds a huge 4 litres of compost or growing
media suitable for vigorous demanding plants like
vegetables.
You have the choice of either having two sets with three
pot planters each, or an attractive full display of the
kit combined with six planters. You don’t have to stop
there- all kits can interconnect and provide a
continuance of display as high as you wish as a modular
stacker by simply purchasing additional kits.
Installation
The kit comes with fastening equipment to mount the Wall
Planter onto a wooden or masonry surface, and also full
instructions. You may also mount the Wall Planter onto a
steel post or pillar, however you will need to acquire
suitable bolts, washers and nuts (not included) but
available from any hardware store.

fermenting system for your kitchen. Simply throw all food
waste, including meat, citrus, egg shells and bread into the
bucket each day, compress and sprinkle with ‘Bokashi’

When you buy a packet of seeds
it is often impossible to tell whether they are hybrids or
non-hybrids.
Hybrids have often gone through a slightly
artificial, “closed pollination” breeding process (ie
something that is unlikely to happen in nature, but not
totally out of the question).
If you save the seeds from a
plant that is a hybrid and plant them, the plant may or may
not fruit and the fruit will not be the same as the fruit of
the parent plant. If you want to get the same fruit again
you have to buy the seeds that you bought the previous year.
With the non-hybrid varieties
you can save the seeds every
year and plant them the next
year. In
fact you can choose to save the seed of the biggest and best
fruit to improve your chances of getting a high quality seed
and a good plant the following year.
This is actually the
way that the old traditional varieties that are available
from Growing Vitality have been developed over time,
creating many varieties for the home gardener.
We believe
they are more nutritious, better tasting, hardier and easier
to grow for the home gardener than the more modern hybrid
varieties.
All the seeds available from
Growing Vitality are non-hybrids and most are certified
